Meet Josh & Danielle
Different strengths. One shared mission.
Josh Barnard
Josh began his real estate career in 2005 and has spent approximately two decades helping people buy and sell homes throughout Pierce County and the greater Puget Sound area. Before real estate, basketball shaped an important part of his life: he earned a full scholarship to the University of Washington and also played at Eastern Washington University.
In 2005, Josh was named Rookie of the Year at Gateway Real Estate. Since then, he has helped hundreds of families navigate major decisions. Yet his identity goes far deeper than production or awards. Josh is a husband, father, and follower of Jesus Christ. Faith, family, relationships, and serving people shape the way he approaches both business and life.
Danielle Barnard
Danielle joined Josh in real estate in 2020 and is an essential partner in The Barnard Group. She brings strengths in marketing, organization, creativity, relationship building, and client care—with a natural ability to make people feel welcomed and genuinely cared for.
Together, Josh and Danielle bring complementary strengths to the work. Josh brings decades of real estate experience, negotiation, strategy, and leadership. Danielle brings thoughtful marketing, organization, connection, and close attention to the client experience. Most importantly, they are building The Barnard Group together.

Josh and Danielle are parents to Emerson and Benny. Family is not separate from their business philosophy—it is one of the reasons behind it. They value time together, traveling, golfing, shared experiences, and intentionally creating memories.
